How Freedom Became My Voice
I was born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1989 — the year the Romanian Revolution changed everything and opened the door to freedom of expression. Growing up as a woman, freedom became my compass: the freedom to feel, to speak, and to tell the truth without fear. On July 5, 2025, I stepped into music not to be louder, but to be more honest — to give a voice to stories people can recognize in themselves. In 2025, I met Ionel Balica — a music creator who prefers to stay away from the public eye. What matters most to him is that the message reaches people through me — and that it creates real, positive change in their personal lives. He writes the lyrics and composes the music; I bring it to life through my voice, emotion, and presence as Luna M, so the message can travel further. My world is built around healthier love: stepping away from manipulation and toxic relationships, choosing clarity over chaos, and becoming more empathetic — with ourselves and with the people around us.
